It’s often challenging to figure out how much food to buy for a recipe. Foods are sold in a variety of sizes and measurements, often not reflected in recipes. While looking on the Net for some conversion tables to help with a recipe I was preparing, I came across this great list of food measurement equivalents. The list was prepared by EatingWell.com for Healthline.com. Both EatingWell.com and Healthline.com have a lot of great content on their sites that I’ll be reviewing.

Here’s the list, I know I’ll be referring to it many times over. As time permits, I’ll also start linking the foods listed to Wikipedia articles and other related content. Another thing on my To Do List is to create a conversion calculator for this list (i.e. cups to tablespoons, teaspoons, etc). In the meantime, check out this post.
