On this day of Thanksgiving, I often reflect on close friends, past and present, who through their actions have shown me what true unconditional love and thanks is all about.

Lily is a Great Dane that has been blind since a bizarre medical condition required she have both eyes removed.
For the last 5 years, Maddison, another Great Dane, has been at her sight. The two are, of course, inseparable.
